O rubric\u0103 \u00een care revedem un film care ne-a pl\u0103cut odat\u0103, s\u0103 descoperim \u00eempreun\u0103 dac\u0103 ne farmec\u0103 \u00een aceea\u015fi m\u0103sur\u0103, dac\u0103 descoperim ceva nou sau dac\u0103, dimpotriv\u0103, constat\u0103m c\u0103 nu ne mai place. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">(Da, se poate \u00eent\u00e2mpla \u015fi asta. De exemplu, <strong>Pulp Fiction<\/strong> m-a dat pe spate \u00een adolescen\u0163\u0103, iar acum mi s-a p\u0103rut o bravad\u0103 f\u0103r\u0103 miz\u0103, cu personaje antipatice \u015fi cu o intrig\u0103 ridicol\u0103, iar s\u0103riturile \u00eencolo \u015fi \u00eencoace \u00een timp, un artificiu menit s\u0103 fac\u0103 filmul s\u0103 par\u0103 interesant, pentru c\u0103 nici personajele,, nici situa\u0163iile, nici dialogul nu erau.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00cen aceast\u0103 s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2n\u0103, am hot\u0103r\u00e2t s\u0103 revedem un film de Woody Allen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pentru a crea o experien\u0163\u0103 interactiv\u0103 cititorilor, am invitat lumea, pe Facebook \u015fi TikTok, s\u0103 voteze din trei filme care mi-au pl\u0103cut \u00een mod deosebit din crea\u0163ia lui: <strong>Annie Hall<\/strong>, <strong>Match Point<\/strong> \u015fi <strong>Midnight in Paris<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trebuie s\u0103 recunosc, oamenii mi-au f\u0103cut o surpriz\u0103 imens\u0103, aleg\u00e2nd \u00eentr-o majoritate cov\u00e2r\u015fitoare mai pu\u0163in cunoscutul <strong>Midnight in Paris<\/strong>, peste ultrapremiatul <strong>Annie Hall<\/strong> \u015fi foarte popularul (la vremea lui) <strong>Match Point. <\/strong>Apoi, mi-am dat seama c\u0103, \u00een ultima vreme, am tot f\u0103cut review-uri la fantasy peste fantasy peste \u00eenc\u0103 un fantasy, a\u015fa c\u0103, probabil, mi s-a ni\u015fat publicul. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dar nu m\u0103 pl\u00e2ng. Am petrecut o sear\u0103 adorabil\u0103 ieri cu un pahar de vin \u015fi cu <strong>Midnight in Paris<\/strong>. Ambii scriu contra cost (comedie pentru TV, \u00een cazul lui Isaac, scenarii pentru Hollywood, \u00een cazul lui Gil), dar vor s\u0103 fie scriitori adev\u0103ra\u0163i, s\u0103 scrie cu pasiune \u015fi s\u0103 intre \u00een marea literatur\u0103. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dar de aici, cele dou\u0103 filme aleg trasee radical diferite: <strong>Manhattan <\/strong>merge pe comedie \u015fi satir\u0103 social\u0103, iar <strong>Midnight in Paris<\/strong> pe escapism \u015fi fantezie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Allen deschide filmul cu un conflict de cuplu: Gil \u015fi logodnica lui, Inez, \u00ee\u015fi fac vacan\u0163a la Paris, \u00eempreun\u0103 cu p\u0103rin\u0163ii ei boga\u0163i din California. Gil e fascinat de Paris \u015fi viseaz\u0103 s\u0103 renun\u0163e la scenarii \u015fi s\u0103 se stabileasc\u0103 aici. Inez, pragmatic\u0103, \u00eei pune \u00een vedere faptul c\u0103 are un venit consistent din jobul lui de la Hollywood \u015fi c\u0103 nu are de  ce s\u0103 viseze la cai verzi pe pere\u0163i. El viseaz\u0103 la o mansard\u0103 parizian\u0103, ea, la o cas\u0103 opulent\u0103 \u00een Malibu. Paradoxal, ambii au dreptatea lor; am trecut, \u00een diverse etape ale vie\u0163ii, prin ambele seturi de aspira\u0163ii. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Remarc\u0103m relativ rapid c\u0103 Inez nu crede \u00een talentul literar al lui Gil, c\u0103 are un dispre\u0163 deloc ascuns fa\u0163\u0103 de latura lui escapist\u0103, \u015fi refuzul lui de a da mii de dolari pe obiecte considerate de ea \u015fi de mama ei fabuloase o irit\u0103 vizibil. Rachel McAdams, scorpia superb\u0103 a filmelor din 2000 &#8211; 2010, e necru\u0163\u0103toare \u00een rolul lui Inez \u015fi \u00eencepi s\u0103 empatizezi din ce \u00een ce mai mult cu Gil, c\u00e2nd Inez se \u00eent\u00e2lne\u015fte \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103tor cu un fost crush, un bou cu ifose, Paul (interpretat cu mult umor de Michael Sheen) \u015fi cu logodnica insipid\u0103 \u015fi incolor\u0103 a acestuia, iar Inez \u00eei acord\u0103 lui Paul o aten\u0163ie plin\u0103 de adula\u0163ie, \u00een timp ce-l reduce pe Gil la t\u0103cere iar \u015fi iar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gil viseaz\u0103 la un trecut de aur, cel al Parisului anilor 20 &#8211; 1920, that is, dragi copii &#8211; c\u00e2nd exista efervescen\u0163\u0103 cultural\u0103, iar scriitorii, pictorii, sculptorii erau apari\u0163ii apreciate \u015fi dezirabile \u00een saloane. Eroul romanului la care lucreaz\u0103 de\u0163ine un \u201enostalgia shop\u201d &#8211; traducerea literal\u0103 e \u201emagazin de antichit\u0103\u021bi\u201d, de\u0219i Allen penduleaz\u0103 destul de mult \u0219i pe cea literar\u0103, de magazin de nostalgie &#8211; sentimentul dominant al lui Gil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u0218i \u00eentr-o sear\u0103, dup\u0103 ce Inez pleac\u0103 cu prietenii ei la o petrecere, Gil se r\u0103t\u0103ce\u0219te pe str\u0103zile Parisului, \u0219i, dup\u0103 ce clopotul bate miezul nop\u021bii, un Peugeot vintage se opre\u0219te \u00een dreptul lui \u0219i \u00eel invit\u0103 s\u0103 urce. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iar eroul nostru se treze\u0219te \u00een mijlocul unei g\u0103\u0219ti de boemi din anii 1920, exact cum \u0219i i-a imaginat: fermec\u0103tori, elegan\u021bi, seduc\u0103tori \u0219i \u00eendr\u0103gosti\u021bi de art\u0103. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Evident, nu se putea amesteca cu neica nimeni \u00een acest moment de r\u0103t\u0103cire \u00een trecut, ci doar cu nume celebre ale vremii: Scott \u0219i Zelda Fitzgerald, Cole Porter, Ernest Hemingway, Josephine Baker, Picasso, Dali, Bunuel, Man Ray, \u0219i, desigur, gazda \u0219i protectoarea tuturor arti\u0219tilor, Gertrude Stein, care \u00eel \u0219i sus\u021bine emo\u021bional \u0219i literar \u00een timp ce el se autodescoper\u0103 ca scriitor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sear\u0103 de sear\u0103, eroul nostru face aceste incursiuni \u00een aceast\u0103 lume feeric\u0103, ce-\u0219i deschide surprinz\u0103tor de rapid bra\u021bele pentru a-l accepta pe veneticul care e un no-name pentru ei. Poezia \u0219i lirismul momentelor de incursiune \u00een trecut sunt contrapunctate de agresivitatea \u0219i consumerismul lui Inez \u0219i al p\u0103rin\u021bilor ei. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00centr-un magazin real de vechituri, Gil descoper\u0103 un disc vechi al lui Cole Porter, pe care \u00eel ascultase c\u00e2nt\u00e2nd \u00een vis, \u0219i se \u00eemprietene\u0219te cu v\u00e2nz\u0103toarea, Gabrielle, o fran\u021buzoaic\u0103 romantic\u0103, alter ego al protagonistului s\u0103u din roman, a\u0219a cum Gil e alter ego al lui Allen \u00eensu\u0219i. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dar cum nici un erou al lui Allen nu poate f\u0103r\u0103 s\u0103 fie \u00eenconjurat de multiple femei, Gil mai are o idil\u0103. \u00cen metaversul lui din anii 1920, se \u00eemprietene\u0219te cu o couturier\u0103, student\u0103 a lui Coco Chanel \u0219i amanta comun\u0103 a lui Picasso \u0219i a lui Hemingway. Adriana e jucat\u0103 irezistibil de Marion Cotillard \u0219ii e \u00een mod evident o proiec\u021bie a dorin\u021belor \u0219i fanteziilor lui Gil: fran\u021buzoaica aventurier\u0103, senzual\u0103 \u0219i mereu pus\u0103 pe flirt a tuturor filmelor \u0219i romanelor fran\u021buze\u0219ti de dragoste. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apoi, descoperim  c\u0103, pentru Adriana, prezentul ei e la fel de prozaic \u0219i nemul\u021bumitor cum e pentru Gil prezentul lui. Ea nostalgizeaz\u0103 dup\u0103 Belle \u00c9poque, perioada de \u00eenflorire cultural\u0103 a Parisului din anii 1880 \/ 1890. \u0218i, pentru c\u0103 Allen e Allen \u0219i nu are cum s\u0103 nu mearg\u0103 \u00een bucl\u0103 \u0219i s\u0103 exploreze un motiv p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een p\u00e2nzele albe, se parafrazeaz\u0103 din nou pe sine: a\u0219a cum un Peigeot vintage apare \u0219i-l duce pe Gil \u00een trecutul lui de vis, o tr\u0103sur\u0103 de epoc\u0103 cu doi cai apare \u0219i-i transport\u0103 pe Gil \u0219i pe Adriana \u00eentr-un Belle \u00c9poque\u00a0feeric \u0219i plin de poezie. Dar, \u00een timp ce Adriana experimenteaz\u0103 extazul pe care Gil \u00eel avusese la prima \u00eent\u00e2lnire cu anii 20, Gil are o brusc\u0103  trezire la realitate, \u00een special c\u00e2nd \u00eei aude pe Toulouse &#8211; Lautrec \u0219i pe companionii lui vis\u00e2nd la Rena\u0219tere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Trecutul glorios e o iluzie. \u00cen realitate, trecutul glorios e tot realitatea dificil\u0103 a unor oameni care, \u0219i ei, viseaz\u0103 la un trecut magic \u00een care totul era perfect. \u0218i, de fapt, nu exist\u0103 un trecut glorios \u00een care toate visele devin realitate peste noapte. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dar Adriana refuz\u0103 s\u0103 \u00eel asculte \u0219i decide s\u0103 r\u0103m\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een Belle \u00c9poque. Tipic Woody Allen: creezi o eroin\u0103 f\u0103urit\u0103 din nostalgie \u0219i o pierzi pentru c\u0103 \u0219i ea are propriile ei nostalgii. Poetic, dureros \u0219i ironic \u00een acela\u0219i timp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gil se \u00eentoarce \u00een prezent, pentru c\u0103 nu mai are nevoie de refugiu virtual \u00een trecut. Se desparte de Inez, decide s\u0103 se stabileasc\u0103 la Paris, iar flirtul lui final cu Gabrielle, fata din magazinul de nostalgie, arat\u0103 c\u0103 vraja pe care o atribuim \u00een mod fals trecutului glorios poate fi creat\u0103 acum \u0219i aici, cu omul potrivit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Midnight in Paris <\/strong>e, poate, cel mai frumos \u0219i mai poetic film al lui Woody Allen.
